FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which radios are fitted to the Fiorino?
The current Fiorino arrived in 2007, and the Qubo is its passenger version with the same dashboard. Earlier vans usually have a Blaupunkt radio with a serial starting BP, often alongside Blue&Me. Continental units with an A2C serial are also common. Later vans can have a Uconnect radio or a Daiichi unit with a short numeric serial.
Where is the radio serial on a Fiorino?
It is not shown on the screen. The serial is printed on a sticker on the radio casing, usually on the top or side, so the radio has to come out of the dashboard to read it. Depending on the unit, it is held either by clips that release with radio keys or by screws behind the trim surround.
What does a Fiorino radio serial look like?
It depends on who made the radio. Blaupunkt serials are BP followed by 12 digits, for example BP237534082298. Continental serials start A2C or A3C and are much longer. Bosch units start 815CM. A Daiichi serial is only 5 digits, such as 04081. Enter the full serial, including the letters at the start.
My Fiorino has a replacement radio. Can you still find the code?
Yes. The code belongs to the radio, not the van, so read the serial from the unit that is fitted now. A radio taken from another Fiat, such as a Doblo or a Punto, is decoded the same way from its own label.
How long does a Fiorino code take?
Most Fiorino codes are sent by email within 60 minutes of ordering. Daiichi units with a short 5 digit serial are decoded instantly.
The radio will not accept any code. What should I do?
After several wrong codes the radio blocks entry for a while. Leave the ignition and the radio switched on until the display lets you enter a code again, which can take from 30 minutes to about 2 hours. Then enter the code from your own serial once, slowly.
I also run a Doblo or a Ducato. Is the process the same?
Yes. Fiat vans use the same radio families, so you read the serial from the label and order in the same way. Fiat radio codes lists every Fiat model we cover.
