How to find your Fiat serial number

The guide below will show you exactly where to find your Fiat radio serial number.

Use PC5-132 release keys in the four corner holes and the unit releases forward. No wires need to be disconnected.

The serial is on the sticker on the casing and starts with BP followed by 12 digits, or 815CM followed by an alphanumeric string.
Continental units use an A2C or A3C serial

Release the trim surround with a prying tool, remove the mounting screws and slide the unit out.

The serial starts with A2C or A3C followed by up to 19 digits, or with BE on Becker-type Continental units. Enter the complete serial including the prefix.

My Panda only does short trips and the battery died. Is that why the radio locked?
Yes, that is the classic trigger. City cars that sit or do short runs drain their batteries, and any power loss puts the radio into code lock. The code from the label fixes it permanently for that unit.
Which radio does my Panda have?
Check the serial prefix on the label. BP is Blaupunkt, 815CM is Bosch, A2C or A3C is Continental, and a short 4 or 5 digit number is a Daiichi unit, a common fit in the Panda. All are covered.
Is the older Panda from the 2000s still supported?
Yes. Blaupunkt-era Pandas from the mid 2000s onwards are covered, along with the later Continental-equipped cars.
What tools do I need?
A set of PC5-132 release keys for the standard unit, or a prying tool and Phillips screwdriver for Continental units. Both cost a few pounds online.
