On most Jaguar radios the serial is engraved into the metal casing, not printed on a label. Insert radio release keys into the holes at each corner of the fascia, push gently outward, and slide the unit forward. No wires need to be disconnected.

With the unit out, look for the code starting JA engraved on the casing. Use the slider to find the radio that matches yours.

If you have a Jaguar Visteon Premium Sound unit, try the on-screen method first. Hold presets 1 and 6 together until the serial appears on the display.

If it does not show on screen, remove the radio and read the serial from the label on the back. The Visteon serial starts with M followed by six digits (for example M002895).
