FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the SEAT Leon use the same radio as VW?
Yes. SEAT is part of the Volkswagen Group and the Leon uses VW-group radios. The serial starts with VWZ and is 14 characters long, the same as on a Golf or Passat.
Do I need to remove the Leon radio to get the serial?
Yes. SEAT Leon radios do not display the serial on screen. Remove the unit using radio release keys and read the serial from the label on the side or back.
Which Leon generations are covered?
We cover all Leon generations including the MK1 (1999-2006), MK2 (2005-2012), MK3 (2012-2020) and MK4 (2020 onwards).
