Insert radio release keys into the four corner holes and slide the unit forward. You do not need to disconnect any wires.

The serial is on a sticker on the side or back of the casing. It is a letter followed by 3 digits (for example, N123 or H758). It may also appear at the end of a longer barcode starting with 8200, 7700 or 2811, inside a box labelled Security.

This radio uses the same code method as the Renault Master.

Why is my Interstar radio asking for a code?
The radio lost power, a battery change or jump start being the usual trigger on a working van, and locked itself. The code brings it straight back.
Which serial does the Interstar use?
The Interstar shares its platform with the Renault Master, so the radio uses the same label serial system. Look for a short letter and 3-digit code in a Security or Pre Code box on the label, or a longer barcode number starting 8200, 7700 or 2811. Short codes decode instantly.
Where is the serial?
On the label on the radio casing. Slide the unit out with release keys or a trim tool, the label is on the top or side, and no wiring needs to come off.
How do I enter the code?
With the display showing 0 0 0 0, press button 1 repeatedly for the first digit, then buttons 2, 3 and 4 for the rest, and press and hold 6 to confirm. The radio unlocks immediately with the correct code.
What if I put the wrong code in a few times?
The radio pauses code entry for a while. Leave it switched on until it asks again, typically within the hour, then enter the correct code once, slowly.
