Use a prying tool to release the trim surround and a Phillips screwdriver to remove the mounting screws, then slide the unit out. No wires need to be disconnected.

The serial number is on the sticker on the casing and starts with 2811 followed by letters and digits (for example, 281157844RTC109). Use the boxed number near the bottom of the label, not the part code at the top, and enter the full serial exactly as shown.

There is no screen or button-combination method for this radio. The serial must be read from the label on the unit.

Can I display the Citan serial on screen with a button combination?
No. The unit fitted to the Citan does not show its serial on screen, whatever button combination is held. Removing the radio and reading the label is the only way.
The label shows several numbers. Which one do I enter?
Use the boxed number near the bottom of the label that starts with 2811, followed by letters and digits. Ignore the part code printed at the top of the label.
Do I need to disconnect any wires?
No. The radio only needs to slide out far enough to read the sticker on the casing, then it can go straight back in.
How fast is a Citan code delivered?
