How to find your Land Rover serial number

The guide below will show you exactly where to find your Land Rover radio serial number.

If you have the Land Rover Visteon radio (shown above), you can display the serial on screen without removing it. Hold presets 2 and 6 together until the serial appears on the display. It starts with M followed by six digits.

If the serial will not show, or you have a Philips or Becker unit, remove the radio (see step 2).

Insert radio release keys into the holes at each corner of the fascia, push gently outward, and slide the unit forward. No wires need to be disconnected.

Land Rovers of this era were fitted with a Visteon CD unit, a Philips cassette unit (both use an M-series serial), or a Becker unit. Use the slider to find the radio that matches yours. The serial is on a label on the top or side of the casing.
