FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why does my Grundig radio need a code?
Grundig radios have a factory security lock that activates when power is interrupted. A flat battery or battery change will trigger it.
How long does delivery take?
Grundig radio codes are typically delivered within 60 minutes of ordering.
Do I need to remove the radio?
Yes. The serial is on the label on the casing and requires removal to access.
My code does not work. What should I do?
Check the serial is read correctly and submit the full number. Contact us if the problem persists. All codes are guaranteed.
Will the code work after a future battery change?
Yes. The code is permanently linked to your radio.
What vehicles have Grundig radios?
Grundig units have been fitted to various European vehicles. If your radio label shows Grundig branding and a serial number, this service will retrieve your code.
How do I enter the code?
On most units you press preset button 1 repeatedly for the first digit, button 2 for the second and so on, then hold the confirm button, usually 5 or 6, to activate. Entry does vary between Grundig models, so if yours behaves differently send us your serial and we will send the exact steps. Avoid guessing, wrong attempts add a waiting period.
Is this an official Grundig service?
This is an independent radio code retrieval service, not affiliated with Grundig.
