How to find your Acura serial number

The guide below will show you exactly where to find your Acura radio serial number.

Turn on the ignition and radio. Press and hold preset buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously for about two seconds until the display changes. The serial will either appear as two parts, a letter followed by 4 digits (for example U3000 and L1234), or as a single 8-digit number. Note down both parts if shown as two — you will need both.

If no serial appears on screen, the radio must be removed. Use DIN release keys or a flat-head screwdriver to carefully remove the surrounding trim panels and slide the unit forward.

The serial number is printed on a sticker on the side or top of the radio unit. It will be 8 digits, or in split format such as U3000 L1234. Found on MDX, RDX, TLX, ILX, Integra, NSX and all other Acura models.
