Ford Ranger Radio Codes

Turn the ignition on and switch the radio on, so it shows CODE or KEYCODE. Hold buttons 1 and 6 together for about 3 seconds.

A few lines scroll past, which can take 20 to 30 seconds, and the serial comes last: V and 6 digits, for example V062049. If it shows in two halves, enter it as one with no space. Some 2004 to 2007 radios show M and 6 digits instead, or a longer line such as FDD2006M078787: enter the M and the 6 digits at the end.

Nothing after two tries? The serial is also on the label on the radio casing, next to SERIAL NO.

Fitted to the Focus, Fiesta, Fusion, C-Max, Mondeo, S-Max, Galaxy, Kuga and Transit from 2004 to 2012.

Ford radios from before 2004, such as the 2000 RDS, 3000 Traffic, 4000 RDS, 5000 RDS EON, 6000 CD RDS EON and 7000 RDS, do not show the serial on the screen. Push the radio removal tools into the holes on both sides of the radio and slide it out.

The serial is on the label on the casing, next to SERIAL NO.: M and 6 digits, for example M019750. The model name is printed on the same label.
