It is simple to remove your Skoda radio. You will need a flat-head screwdriver or a prying tool for prying the panels off the dash to access the radio.
In old models you need radio release keys to remove your radio from the dashboard.
Push the release keys into the 4 holes in each corner of the radio, apply a little pressure and the radio will free from the dashboard. The label will be located on the casing of the stereo.
Skoda serials are always begin "SKZ" 14 digits long, for example SKZAZ5L1562150. Please see image for reference.
If for any reason the label is damaged or unclear, the serial is also compressed into the metal casing of the radio.
