How To Find Your Skoda Serial Number

Skoda Radio Removal

It is simple to remove your Skoda radio. You will need a flat-head screwdriver or a prying tool for prying the panels off the dash to access the radio.

In old models you need radio release keys to remove your radio from the dashboard.

Push the release keys into the 4 holes in each corner of the radio, apply a little pressure and the radio will free from the dashboard. The label will be located on the casing of the stereo.

Removed The Radio? What We Need

Skoda serials are always begin "SKZ" 14 digits long, for example SKZAZ5L1562150. Please see image for reference.

If for any reason the label is damaged or unclear, the serial is also compressed into the metal casing of the radio.

I am always sceptical about online services where you need to pay. But i can tell you that they are very professional -very quick too- and that my radio on my Skoda came back to life. Thanks

"Bought a Nav jnit for Skoda with no code from breakers. So many companies couldn't decode due to the S/N ? Skoda as usual never got back in touch after promising they would. 23.99 and a couple of hrs later we have a working nav unit ! Thanks so much. Excellent Service, friendly staff, fast and efficient. Most of all though it works !!"

We used online radio codes to obtain a code for a Skoda bolero radio cd. The communication was excellent and the company was very helpful. I would definitely recommend them for any radio code issues. Jim @ Northbridge Car and Van Centre

I was stuck. Could not find the radio code for my Skoda Car Radio to reactivate it after a disconnected battery. Online Radio Codes sent me the code to me very quickly indeed. Now the radio is up and running again.

"I was sceptical but this really works!!! I had replaced my Skoda Symphony stereo with a Sony, but it was getting old and started playing up so I decided to put the Skoda stereo back in. Although it cost me 18.99 to get the security code, it is working :)"
