How to Find A SEAT Ibiza Serial Number

It is quite simple to remove your SEAT radio. You will need t a flat-head screwdriver or a prying tool for prying the panels off the dash to access the radio.

In some cases you may need radio release keys to remove your radio from the head unit.

Once you have the radio release keys, push them into the 4 holes in each corner of the radio (See image), apply a little pressure and the radio will release from the dashboard. The radios label will be located on the radio's casing.

Where Is My Serial Number?

SEAT radio serials are 14 digits for example SEZ1Z3F6412082. Please see image for reference.

If the label on the radio is damaged, on most SEAT Ibiza radios have the serial compressed into the metal casing. As shown in the example image, the serial is engraved in the casing above the sticker-label.

"Don't use this company if your device is a newer VAG (Volks, Audi, Skoda or Seat) unit that is locked in 'Component Protection'. Component protection is the newer VAG anti theft measure, post 2014 I believe. Codes are not needed if the head unit is disconnected from the battery, provided it is reinstalled into the same vehicle. However, the unit will lock out if it is moved from one vehicle to another and this requires a visit to the dealer to resolve. I eventually received a refund but it too

"very quick and helpful service with no dramas. Gavin Wilson in particular.Unlike the Seat radio owners handbook, as there was no instructions it took me longer to figure out how to enter the code, than to obtain it."

"Excellent. I thought the price was a little steep to begin with, but when I approached a SEAT dealer they wanted 20.00+vat and then couldn't provide one because the computer wouldn't link with the radio. The age of the car was the excuse provided! No mention was made of the possibility of getting one on-line; getting a new radio was of course mentioned! Well done RadioCodes. Thoroughly recommended."

"Called Audi and they wanted 25 and me to go there and said it would take 30 mins. Checked online and found this site was a little sceptical but didn't want to go to the dealer. Glad I took the risk, had my code emailed to me in 20 mins and didn't have to leave my seat. (I already had my serial number from my radio). Great service, would definitely recommend."

"Brilliant Ford wanted to charge my 40 quid to have my Sony stereo re-coded. Had it booked in for later in the week to get done, when my friend recommended this site. It had worked for his SEAT and for 9.99 was worth a shot and low and behold it worked will be so happy to cancel my Ford reservation. Very fast and quick service worth every penny. :)"
