Why does my SEAT radio show SAFE?
SAFE is displayed when the radio loses power, for example after a battery change or a flat battery. It is a factory anti-theft lock that prevents use without the correct code.
What does a SEAT serial number look like?
All SEAT radio serials begin with SEZ and are 14 characters long. Examples include SEZ1Z3F6412082 and SEZAZ2L1958512. The capital letter I and the digit 1 can look similar on labels, so check carefully.
My SEAT radio shows SAFE but will not let me enter a code. What should I do?
Some SEAT models require the radio to be powered on for one hour before code entry becomes available. Leave the ignition in the accessory position with the radio on and wait. After an hour, try entering the code.
How long does delivery take?
During our working hours, Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm UK, most SEAT radio codes arrive within 24 hours of ordering. Please allow up to 48 hours for delivery. You will receive the code by email at the address you provide at checkout.

Do I need to remove the radio to get the serial?
Yes. All SEAT radios require physical removal to access the serial label on the casing. Radio release keys or a flat-head screwdriver are needed for the trim surround. No wires need to be disconnected.
My code does not work. What should I do?
Check the serial carefully, particularly the capital letter I versus the number 1. If the serial is correct and the code fails, contact us and we will investigate. All codes are guaranteed.
Are Aura and Alana car models or radio names?
Both. Aura and Alana are names used for both SEAT vehicle trim levels and the radio units fitted to certain models. Check the name on the front of your radio to identify the unit type.
