Renault Phillips Radios
All Renault radios must be removed to gain access to the serial number.
This is easy to remove from the dash, all that is required is radio release keys.
Once removed, on the back of the radio will be on the label, your serial either begin "2811", "8200" or be in a "Security" box.
Renault Bosch Radios
Like any other Renault Radio, this system requires removal to access the serial number on the label. You can do this using release keys or anything that will fit the 4 pinholes in the corners of the radio.
When you have removed the radio, the serial number will start with "2811" as is the same as the other radios.
Example Serial Numbers
When you have removed your Renault Radio, you will have to find the label located either on top or at the back/side of the radio like the one in the example image.
You will find a 15 character sequence starting with either "2811" or "8200", following this, at the end will be a letter and 3 numbers. For example "A123".
