The guide below will show you exactly where to find your Nissan radio serial number.

Nissan Clarion (CL / PN / PP)
Remove the radio to find your serial
Insert radio release keys into the four corner holes and slide the unit forward.

The serial is on the back label, 14 characters starting with CL, PN or PP (for example, CL094090001747). Note it exactly as shown.

You will also see a Model No. on the label (for example, PN-3001P or PP-3001M-B). For PN and PP serials this is filled in automatically. For CL serials please enter it in the Model No. field.

Why is my Almera radio asking for a code?
The radio lost power, usually a battery change, and locked itself. It is the standard Nissan anti-theft system and the correct code unlocks it immediately.
Which radio does the Almera have?
Most Almeras carry Blaupunkt or Clarion built units. Blaupunkt serials start BP, Clarion serials start PP or PN with a model number printed alongside, for example PN-3001P. Note both parts down on Clarion units.
Where is the serial?
On the label on the radio casing. The unit slides out with standard release keys, no wiring needs to come off, and the label sits on the top or side.
How do I enter the code on an Almera?
With CODE on the display, press preset 1 repeatedly for the first digit, preset 2 for the second and so on, then confirm. Done in under a minute with the code in hand.
What if the radio stops accepting codes?
Too many wrong attempts pause the unit. Leave it powered on, typically 30 minutes to 2 hours, and it will take entries again. Then enter the decoded code once, slowly.
