Mercedes Alpine AL2910 or AL2199 Radio Codes

It is quite simple to remove your Alpine radio. You will need a set of radio release keys. These are inexpensive and are around £3 - £5, you can obtain them from a local car audio shop or Halfords.

Once you have the radio release keys, push them into the 2 holes in each bottom corner of the radio (See image), apply a little pressure and the radio will release from the dashboard. The radios label will be located on the radio's casing.

Identifying Your Mercedes Serial Number

The Mercedes Audio 10 radio serial number starts with either AL or MF and is 14 digits long. For example AL 2910 Y 01 04000. This is usually on the back of the radio, engraved underneath a white label. Please see the image for reference.

Mercedes Becker Radio's

To locate your Mercedes Becker serial number you need to remove the radio from the dashboard. The serial and model number are located on the radios label, which is on the top or side of the radio.

There are online guides and video tutorials on YouTube that can help with the removal of the radio.

Locating Your Mercedes Becker Serial Number

Once you have removed the radio, look to the sides of the radio for a sticker with the radio's information.

As an example, the model number will start with "BE 4176". Followed by the 8 digits serial number "51138970".

In some cases, it will be engraved into the radio's casing.
