Do I need to remove the Concert radio to get the serial?
Yes. Audi Concert radios do not display the serial on screen. You need to remove the unit and read the serial from the label on the side or back of the casing.
What tools do I need to remove an Audi Concert?
Most Concert units require DIN radio release keys, which slot into the small rectangular holes on either side of the radio fascia. These are cheap and widely available online.
How do I tell Concert 1 from Concert 2?
Concert 1 units were fitted roughly from 1998 to 2001. Concert 2 came after that. Checking the part number on the unit label is the most reliable way to confirm which version you have.
